Ok, after long struggling....

A super downgraded version of a project that has NPE.  

The ".project" file has an linked resource, that if not removed would (indirectly?) influence the VE and show several NPE.

removing that linkedresource will allow the example npedemo\WebContent\html\tableBasic\tableBasic.xhtml   to load at least properly, without NPEs.
