vitali, I tried applying again - still not possible without major manual editing/tweaking - whitespace/tabs mixup it seems.

dgeraskov, your patches does not seem to have any of these issues - maybe its  machine specific how the patch is build so maybe you could try getting the patch from vitali and create a patch the way you normally do it ?
