Yes, Alexey, 'to modify only changed property' is exactly what I meant by 'A property remains unmodified in source until it is edited by user in Properties tab'. For instance, if you have 10 properties in a file and used the dialog to edit only one of them, other 9 will remain in the source unmodified.
