"New" vanished from context menu in project explorer in the Java EE perspective

As soon as one installs JBoss Tools the "New" option that is normally shown as the first thing in the context menu in the project explorer view vanishes if one uses the Java EE perspective. It is still there in the Java perspective.

I'm currently using Eclipse 3.5 SR1 and the latest from http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/development/
