Rob Stryker commented on JBIDE-5508:
------------------------------------

Short of copying the entire class, there's no real way for me to override all the private methods which expose this functionality.

If you remember, the main tab was added because a user specifically requested being able to change the main class. So we added the main tab.

I don't believe there's much that can be done here unless you honestly believe copying an entire class is a good use of time.

> There is a Project field on the main class of the server - what is that for ?
> The search seem to use it, but that doesn't have any relevance to what is on the classpath of the server. i.e. the default class is not available when searching.
> Marked critical for usability and possible sideeffects of storing project location in the launch config.
