Aaron, I tested the LabWebService project you attached with Fedora 10,  JDBS build:  	jbdevstudio-linux-gtk-3.0.0.v201001060655N-H50-CR1.jar, it works fine,  the only issue I found is that if you try to to deploy a compressed archive, it doesn't work, nothing is deployed.
