"I'm curious why we need to add all the libs into the web service project in the tooling when as we deploy it, the runtime libs should be available in the EAP or SOA-P 5 runtime environment, should they not?"

It seems that JAX-RS jars are not automatically deployed into the container in EAP 5.0 nor SOA 5.0.  I believe this changes in AS6 -> EAP 6 -> SOA 6

Does JBDS have any documentation that could describe this solution?
