Prior to 7.0, Teiid is deployed as stand-alone server or embedded server. These versions are NOT designed to overlay on top of the JBoss AS and expect them to work. However you can deploy Teiid as data source in earlier versions in JBoss AS. See installation instructions here https://community.jboss.org/docs/DOC-12956

Teiid 7.0 is completely different from its predecessors, we took upon the runtime model of MC and JBoss AS and designed Teiid around it thus its dependency on JBoss AS. Deploying in EAP was not a target for 7.0, but it should not be that different. We just need to figure out the differences and fix them. We compile and build Teiid with 1.6 SDK, is that a issue with EAP?
