As Max indicated, Teiid isn't a server (although many people throw around the term "Teiid server" still), it's just an application running on the server.  We've been trying to train ourselves to call each instance *a* Teiid or a Teiid instance.  With that in mind, we have our own Teiid view within Designer that allows users to deploy VDBs to a Teiid instance.
