What's interesting is, if you:

  1) close the error dialog,
  2) press the 'Next' button (you will see an empty page)
  3) press the 'Prev' button (the installer will copy the files again)

And then the step 8 will not show you an error dialog.  However, the step 9 still shows an empty page and clicking 'Next' at step 9 will not work.
