John Verhaeg commented on JBIDE-5840:
-------------------------------------

The association with a ModeShape server is determined on a file-by-file basis, so is once again more similar to the SVN paradigm. In fact, each file can be associated with multiple ModeShape servers. However, publishing to ModeShape is not necessarily a team-related activity either, and is more about dissecting the metadata within models to analyze relationships, report on lineage, etc. Given this understanding, I think the WTP issue is moot.

Barry and I are both committers in the ModeShape project, but no one from the ModeShape project (including us) will be at EclipseCon that I'm aware.

> Were reading the docs in modeshape plugin and screenshots (couldn't get it to run outofbox - probably some misconfig in my eclipse)
> and noted that this seem to be duplicating both resource filtering, deployment, console and server views for the modeshape repositiories.
> That sounds/feels very redundant.
> Why not create a WTP Server which can deploy these things instead of a complete separate and duplicate functionality ?
