I think you just caught us at a bad time.  Trunk is currently broken while we make some big changes wrt to support the JCA changes going into Teiid.

Barry will set you up with commit access to our SVN repo.

The "source" in the feature isn't real; it's just the Ant tasks that we used for our previous build process.  We'll delete these.

Geez, we never noticed the nested jar issue before.  This was just a result of auto-conversion by Eclipse from pre-3.0 Eclipse to 3.0.  We'll fix these, too.

I can't remember why (since it was 6 years ago), but we (thought we) had to create separate projects, one for the feature and one for the product, thus the weird feature name.  I guess we'll just combine these into one project now.  The qualifier on the version represents exactly what you suggested - the timestamp of the build.  Since we've been doing these manually, we've been updating them in the feature.xml manually.  We're assuming part of the build script will involve modifying the qualifier in this file going forward.
