No, it doesn't. This refactoring (user.name to user.title) means you want to rename a java method too. But there may be a few corresponding methods (setter, getter, ...). So such refacotring could be quite complex. I think it's safer to go to java source (Ctrl+Click on the EL) and rename the method(s) via Java rafactoring wizard.
