I agree, but could you propose a way howto reflect this idea in the gui? I didn't see something better then just instead of "Select or configure a Console Configuration" at the top of dialog - write: "Select or configure a Console Configuration. Remember: the logic for priorities of settings is "from top to bottom, from main tab to others"".
