Robert (Bob) Brodt commented on JBIDE-7497:
-------------------------------------------

Hmm, I created this JIRA entry using eclipse mylyn - apparently I don't know how to use that editor yet, because none of my comments or the Fix Version made it in here... :(

Anyway, there are several issues involving the updating and displaying of error markers in the graphical editor (the "Design" page):

1. markers are not persisted (simple change: set <persistent value="true"> in the validation marker extensions point)
2. once persisted, markers are not updated when the editor starts
3. if an error is reported against some internal element of a BPEL activity (e.g. the <query> element of a <from> in a <copy> in an <assign>) the error decorator is not drawn on the assign activity in the graphical editor
4. removing or correcting the offending error sometimes doesn't remove the error marker
