Does seam generatede file warfile.launch? The wizard receives/saves all the data from/in the file(and Core/Annotations/JPA type too).
I guess Beta1 shown "Core" for you because you updated the value in Beta2 and used updated file in Beta1(the same project). There should no be any difference AFAIK.
