Yes, that's the change I made.  My preference is the have the Teiid category, and your patch will enable that, but I'm concerned that the same defect your patch to Seam makes is likely to be present in implementations around DTP.  AFAIK there are no other 'child' categories of  "org.eclipse.datatools.connectivity.db.category".
