Snjezana Peco commented on JBIDE-7073:
--------------------------------------

Attached is projectExamplesTeiid.xml containing the PartsProject project in the "Teiid Designer - Switch to the Teiid Designer perspective" category.

Try the following:

- save the file and add a user site (Window>Preferences>JBoss Tools>Project Examples) using the saved file
- check "Show Experimental sites"
- switch to the Java, Seam or Resource perspective
- call Help>Project Examples
- select Parts Model Project Set Example

If you have default preferences in Window>Preferences>General>Perspectives, you will see the perspective switch dialog.

BTW: The original "Parts Model Project Set Example" example contains the project name "Parts Project" which is invalid and doesn't work correctly

> I used Project Examples to import a Teiid Designer project. The "Resource" perspective was open at the time. The first thing I did was open the "Teiid Designer" perspective so that appropriate actions, views, etc. would be available while working with that example project I just imported. It would be nice if the Project Examples framework, after the project was imported, either automatically switched to, or asked the user if they wanted to switch to, a specified perspective. This specified perspective could be identified in the examples XML file. Per Max, it might "be possible to reuse/mimic new project wizards preferred perspective option."
