A first strategy to pack deltacloud in a jar and run it with jruby fails (see comment above, 20.10.2010). Jruby mailing list knows no solution to it (fails to find a file "server.rb" which is required by steamcannon-deltacloud-core/config.ru).

A second attempt to use maven rubygems plugin and the torqubox gem artifacts failed, too. Bob M (torqubox project) is helping here and tries to elaborate a working solution (last update was today in IRC: odd behavior of rubygems maven plugin 0.21).
