steps to reproduce:

1) have a mock server running
2) create a new connection to it
3) give it a name
4) set "mockuser" as user, "mockpassword" as password
5) test the connection by hitting the "Test" button

Result:
an error dialog pops up that reports that the instance "madeupValue" was not found

Expected Result:
The test succeeds
