The need to add 3rd party update site is documented here:

http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/nightly/jbosstools-3.2.0.M2/

and will be documented in dev milestone page once we update to M2 (currently lists other sites but not yet GWT):

(Of course if p2 was playing nice, the site would be added and activated by default once the metadata for the JBT site was read.)
