DnD does not work for files with XHTML namespace

STEPS TO REPRODUCE (see issue-demo.png):
1. Open file test.html in VPE.
2. Try to DnD 'Button' from the first cell of the table to the second.
RESULT:
Drop targets are not highlighted. It is impossible to drop the button anywhere.

NOTE: DnD works If the following namespace is not present in the file:
    xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"
