Another problem is that Google Analytics has problems to detect Linux versions. The only Linux version that seems to be detected correctly is the version a Konqueror browser reports (see attached screenshot).
I did several test request but unfortunately had no success. 
We now decided no to try to report linux versions via the browser (which seems to be problematic with Google Analytics) but to misuse another field.
