I can't reproduce the problem on Windows and doesn't have Mac to try that.

Shutting down the embedded EAP server, or closing out of eclipse can take minutes.  I have also experienced 3-4 crashes in about 5-6 times running this and can not seem to isolate it to a specific set of actions.  I have run a version on Linux and do not experience any of the same symptoms as noted above.  Wondering out loud if JDK 6 on Snow Leopard is not something that would be recommended or creates some of these gremlins.
