there are several ways to control that usage reporting is included:

- when a fresh JBDS instance is started, you should get asked if you want to allow usage reporting (see attached screenshot)
- furthermore, you have a preferences page for usage reporting, that allows you to disable it. It also shows what it will report (see attached screenshot)
