Regarding to drag and drop problem. Isaac you are right it's component bug but it's not fixed long time so I suggest to fix documentation to describe drag and drop to source part of VPE not to visual part or at least to mention in documentation that it's possible to drag and drop elements to source part of VPE. Then we are actually giving workaround to users which will get to situation when drag and drop to visual part of VPE will not work.
