I had exactly the same problem: fresh install, added SVN then a crash with the same stacktrace.
I found out that by removing this jar

org.eclipse.mylyn.tasks.ui_3.6.0.I20110415-0655.jar

the problem disappeared.

I think it is a problem of JBoss Dev Studio because I never had this problem with Eclipse (3.6 or 3.7).
