m2e prior to 1.1 doesn't handle disabled profiles correctly : https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=337353.

Once the fix is applied upstream, we should use the new methods from ResolverConfiguration (via reflection) if they're available, i.e. when m2e 1.1 is installed.
