Jiri, when you made the test did you mapped the added field as necessary?
When I did the test I had annotation near getter method and the filed was not shown in configuration even after I made manul console configuration rebuild in ConsoleConfiguration view.
Could wrong mapping be the reason of the "missing" field in generated ddl?
Please make sure the filed appears in console confgiration tree view after manual rebuild and test such example. 
Note you don't need export to database. And this is very strange you didn't have schema.ddl generated. Could you please retest (ping me so I could ask you all the details when you would do this).
