My patch was committed to 3.2.CR2 as it is simple, safe without 'execute in external process' functionality and was reviewed by Max.
Vitaly's patch doesn't have the defect which would appear when we open the 'execute in external process' functionality, but it was not reviewed. That is why we still haven't committed the patches to trunk.
