This somehow reminds me bugs from the old times but I currently dont know how to fix it.

I tried several approaches:
* using ColumnPixelData instead of ColumnWeightData: the odd behavior is gone, but columns are initially set to a fixed width. Since we dont know how large the eclipse windows will be, this seems like a bad option to me.
* If I pack all columns, the bug is gone, too. But the columns are then mostly too small and the results does not look well either.
