The annotation support was added to Hibernate JPA project. (not visible for user). The validation could not be fully implemented as it requires TypeDef annotation support. But TypeDef annotaion could be in package.info file, which we don't support now. Without package-level annotation support we'll add the errors where they should not be added.
When package-level annotations will be supported need to finish TypeImpl#validateType(...) method.
