Robert (Bob) Brodt commented on JBIDE-8345:
-------------------------------------------

I removed all dependencies on Java 6 APIs for now. The BPEL Editor still runs on Java 5 although there are other eclipse 3.6 plugins (e.g. JFace) that now require Java 6, but I didn't want to be the first to break backward compatibility ;)

At some point we will have to change all of our JBoss plugin manifests to require Java 6 but if it's being pushed back upstream, I'm not sure this is a good idea for the BPEL editor.

> A user reported a problem with the BPEL editor on mac OS X which, after a lot of email exchanges, turned out to be a Java version incompatibility. The plug-in manifests need to be updated to explicitly require Java 6.
