Max Rydahl Andersen commented on JBIDE-8260:
--------------------------------------------

This is hardcoding it to /home/jboss/.jboss, not ~/.jboss which would be the right location.

Does ~/.jboss not get resolved properly remotely ?

> Currently we look for /etc/sysconfig/jboss-eap file.
> That doesn't exist on all systems - especially not AS based ones where it seem to be /etc/sysconfig/jboss-as
> Would it be possible to use ~/.jboss instead ?
> Where ~/ is the home directory of the user used to login with ?
> Then this is not bound to product or project; and it does not depend on read access to system files and you can have multiple configurations as long as you log in with different user.
> Need to sync with Marek on the chosen one.
