Max Rydahl Andersen commented on JBDS-1778:
-------------------------------------------

>From Burr:

"It is my understanding that you originally posted some Maven archetypes related to either Seam or EE, perhaps at Google code. I remember there being two of them.

The real goals here are:
A. Validation that JBoss Tools/JBDS support what we considered to be "popular" Maven archetypes
B. Identify what Maven archetypes would we test and recommend to our userbase
C. Make sure those recommendations are tested well enough
D. Ideally, have a version of the archetype that supports .org and another that points to the enterprise bits (in a .zip)."

My comments:

A. I assume you also mean to include EAP here since JBT/JBDS doesn't magically solve this without having EAP repo with these.
B. We'll need to ask the various project and product teams what they use/provide.
C. Depending on what B gives that needs involvement from JBDS and other runtime QE.
D. I don't understand what you mean here ? The archeypes are supposed to be served out from a maven repo - thus these should be provided from jboss.org maven repo or the EAP maven zip, correct ? Or you want JBDS to provide these ? Can we block releases of EAP/WFK etc. if these aren't ready with the archetypes ?
