I have reviewed SOA-5.2.0.ER1 (http://jawa05.englab.brq.redhat.com/candidate/soa-5.2.0.ER1/soa-p-5.2.0.ER1.zip)
The runtime plugin uses the ServerLoaderBean class from the as.core plugin that reads a version from <SOA_HOME>/jboss-as/bin/twiddle.jar
This jar contains "Specification-Version: 5.1.1" in the MANIFEST.MF.
