Yahor Radtsevich commented on JBIDE-9059:
-----------------------------------------

This is not only a VPE issue. A lot of JBoss Tools plugins require Java 6 too. A better way to make the user aware of it is to show this dialog not only when VPE starts, but when any JBoss Tools plugin starts.

The message might be like this:
{noformat}
You use Java 5, but Java 6 is required by JBoss Tools. Some plugins may be disabled.

> It would be nice to display error message when VPE is used with Java v.5 not just in Error Log but also to dialog window with check box "Do not show this error again". It's more informative for user to see the reason why Visual part of VPE editor is not shown in dialog window then just in Error Log view.
