According to the discussion on mailing list, these OSs will be supported for JBDS5:

* Windows - XP, 7
* MacOSX - 10.6, 10.7
* RHEL6
* Fedora 15,16
* Ubuntu 10.4-LTS, 11.04, 11.10

For Linux distros default Gnome/GTK cofiguration is expected.
All 32 and 64 (if only 32 bit are available they will be used on 64-bit (32bit JVM))
* Latest available JDK 1.6 (Windows, MacOSX, Linux)
* Latest available OpenJDK 1.6 (Linux)

Open issues:
* single installer for all OS? (32 and 64bit)?
* 64bit on windows (see above)
