If you want an example compatible with EAP 5.x  included in JBDS 4, you should choose the Seam 2.2 booking Example.
The other booking examples require EAP 4.3/JBoss AS 4.2 and Seam 2.0.

As to "cvc-attribute" errors, they are created by the XML validator and aren't fatal. I have fixed them.
