afaik the usage plugin version is still the one that is used to report which version of JBT/JBDS users are using.

Opening this jira to ensure that we either find another solution for this OR at least remember to bump the minor/major versions just as much as for jboss tools it self (i.e. 3.2.1 in branch and 3.3.0 in trunk)
