talked to rob and this issue is a know one and there's no way for us technically to find out about the changed mode (exploded->war). The WTP API does not inform us of this change and it does not allow us to know about this change in any way. The only valid workaround is to do a full publish.

This bug is therefore about the full publish that fails after switching.
