I have created the org.jboss.tools.central.configurators ext.point that enables configuring the JBoss Central editor.
This ext. point isn't created by default (in JBoss Tools)
I have also created the com.jboss.jbds.central plugin that implements this ext. point. This plugin is included in JBDS.

It is possible to configure the following:

- actions in the main editor toolbar (they are now different for JBT and JBDS)
- a discovery URL
- a twitter link
- a news url
- a blogs url
- an image in the editor header 
- wizards included in the Create Projects section

Project example/tutorials:

If a JBoss Central project example needs to be included only in JBDS, it will be created in the com.jboss.jbds.central plugin. 
If a JBoss Central project example needs to be included only in JBoss Tools, it will be created in the org.jboss.tools.central.community plugin.  This is a new plugin and needs to be included in JBT only.
If a JBoss Central project example needs to be included in both, JBT and JBDS, it will be created in the org.jboss.tools.central plugin.

Currently, the org.jboss.tools.central plugin doesn't contain any project example, the org.jboss.tools.central.community plugin includes the JBoss EE 6 Project Template and JBoss AS 7 QuickStarts categories and the com.jboss.jbds.central plugin contains the JBoss EE 6 Project Template category.
The project examples from the JBoss EE 6 Project Template category have been copied to the project-examples-jbds50.xml file. They are now shown in the Project Examples wizard, in both - JBDS and JBT.

This way JBT includes the following:

- JBoss EE 6 Project Template 
- JBoss AS 7 QuickStarts

 JBDS now includes:

- JBoss EE 6 Project Template 

The Seam 2 tutorials category has been removed.
