I just tested this on the latest nightly and AS7.1 still cannot start - this line kept repeating:
13:55:53,838 ERROR [org.jboss.remoting.remote] (Remoting "dhcp-27-249:MANAGEMENT" read-1) JBREM000200: Remote connection failed: java.io.IOException: JBREM000201: Received invalid message on Remoting connection 0dd41677 to /127.0.0.1:54377

Tools version: 2011-11-29_05-44-38-H4074

AS7.1 management plugin: org.jboss.ide.eclipse.as.management.as71_2.3.0.v20111128-2143-H863-M5.jar

I guess I'll have to wait for a new build with newer version of this plugin.
