If there is a way to get the cheatsheets into the same physical space as the palette/outline then that would help. There is just no room left for actually editing if the user select a quickstart/project example to start off, while in the JBoss Perspective.  

When you say "that changing this layout for JBoss Perspective...has zero impact on JBoss tools users", I assume you mean that a JBoss Tools user will/can still use Java EE or Web Perspectives.
