I noticed that while user is typing in username/password the server is being *bombed* with new requests without any reason - why aren't we waiting for the user to actually try authenticate before doing more ? Why are there a continous loop trying to ping while it hasn't authenticated just once yet?

And it also seems it is not trying with the username/password it already has so users are *always* asked afaics.
