DAVID BERNIER commented on JBDS-1648:
-------------------------------------
Hi
I've effectively the same pb than Marnix :
- install a fresh version of JBDS 4.1 (JRE 32 bits, Win7)
- used extra jboss update site to install mylyn extension and when restart jbds the crash appeared
I delete the file org.eclipse.mylyn.tasks.ui_3.6.0.I20110415-0655.jar and then restart jbds, it works.
What is a little strange at this is point is if i install now subclipse with extra jboss update site, the file org.eclipse.mylyn.tasks.ui_3.6.0.I20110415-0655.jar reappear but the ide doesn't crash anymore.
It could be explain the random flavour of this issue reproductiveness...
Hope this helps.

> I had installed the 4.0GA version of Jboss Dev Studio, created a sample project. Later I restarted the Studio after attempting to install a few plugins (I believe Subclipse).
>
> Every time afterwards, it would launch the studio , the UI would launch with code windows, and then the studio would crash to desktop in less than a second afterwards.
> I do have dump eclipse files that can be attached to this issues.
> Note: I am able to open the same workspace without any issues using the STS eclipse IDE.
