Some of project examples are implemented as zipping up existing projects but that does not mean they should be fully treated the same as import of existing projects do.

Many prefer to have their eclipse metadata separate from their eclipse projects thus we should look into providing a way for user to say when the project is imported/created which root directory it is to be done in.
