------------------------------------------------------------

Sadly, I can't reproduce using Eclipse Classic SDK 3.6.2 or Eclipse JEE Helios SR2 (both on Win7_64 w/ JDK6u25_64), using various sites [1], [2] and installing 3.6.x. Note that the JEE bundle comes w/ Mylyn 3.4.3 - we could conceivably attempt to backlevel to that release.

[2]http://download.eclipse.org/mylyn/releases/helios/

I also did some comparisons between JBDS 4.1.1 installation and Eclipse JEE/Classic after installing Mylyn. Seems that JBDS fails to install org.jdom_jaxen_1.0.0.20081203-1100.jar; however, after copying that plugin into the JBDS studio/plugins folder, JBDS still crashes so I guess that's not the culprit.

*{color:red}So... we have a reproduceable crash due to org.eclipse.mylyn.tasks.ui_3.6*.jar for JBDS 4.1.1 on Win7_64 w/ Oracle JDK6u25 32-bit, but I can't determine how to solve the problem.{color}*

> I had installed the 4.0GA version of Jboss Dev Studio, created a sample project. Later I restarted the Studio after attempting to install a few plugins (I believe Subclipse).
>
> Every time afterwards, it would launch the studio , the UI would launch with code windows, and then the studio would crash to desktop in less than a second afterwards.
> I do have dump eclipse files that can be attached to this issues.
> Note: I am able to open the same workspace without any issues using the STS eclipse IDE.
