I have tried to replicate the issue on Windows, Mac and Linux without success. While looking at the sources, the error dialog is produced in the case of an unexpected IO exception. Unfortunately this exception is not logged. I don't know if it's worth the bother to try and look for the reason why this is happening. If you feel like it is, the first step would be to log the exception. I would nevertheless not consider it urgent and just postpone the issue to some later release.
