I suppose the reason is in wrong "equals" method comparison.
keySet in one cases has different hasCodes, in others -- even with matching hash "contains" returns null.

Kyes is of nsIDOMNode type which is Mozilla class. So we cannot override equals() method directly. 

Thus previouslly we used Iterator to get the right node mapping.
